Provider guide
Everything a provider needs to know about running a listing here, in the order you will meet it.
Onboarding
Sign up and choose the provider option, then fill in your business details. Your listing is created immediately but starts as pending, which means customers cannot see it yet. An administrator reviews it before it goes live.
You can keep editing everything while you wait. Nothing about the review depends on the listing sitting still.
If your listing is not approved
You will see the reason on your dashboard, written by the administrator who reviewed it. Update whatever needs changing and press Request another review — that puts the listing back in the queue. You cannot approve your own listing, and neither can anyone except an administrator.
Your profile
Your trading name, description, years of experience, city and contact details. The description is the part customers actually read, so it is worth more than the rest put together.
Your business phone number and street address are visible to signed-in users, not to anonymous visitors. Your account email is never shown publicly.
Services and pricing
Add each service you offer from the platform’s categories, with an indicative price: hourly, fixed, per visit, or quote on request. Choose quote on request when the job genuinely varies — an invented fixed price helps nobody.
Prices are informational. They are shown to customers as a guide and are not a binding quote; what a job actually costs is between you and the customer.
Availability
Set the hours you usually work, per weekday. These are a signal, not a calendar: they tell customers when it is sensible to ask, but every booking request still comes to you to accept or decline. Overlapping rules for the same day are rejected.
Booking requests
A request arrives as pending, and you accept or decline it. Accepting it is an agreement — if you later need to cancel an accepted booking you must give the customer a reason.
The platform will not let you accept two bookings that overlap in time. Once the job has taken place, mark it complete; a job cannot be completed before its scheduled start time.
Messaging
Each booking has a message thread with that customer, private to the two of you. Threads are tied to a real booking — you cannot message someone who has never booked with you, and nobody else can read the conversation.
Reviews and your rating
A customer can review a booking only after you have marked it complete, and only once per booking. Their rating and comment appear on your public profile under their name.
Your public rating is the average of your published reviews. You cannot edit, hide or delete a review about you — only an administrator can moderate one, and only for reasons that apply to the review rather than to how flattering it is. Before you have any reviews, your profile shows no rating at all rather than a zero.
Notifications
You are notified when a customer requests a booking, when a booking you are part of changes status, when a customer messages you, when someone reviews your work, and when an administrator makes a decision about your listing. Notifications never include a customer’s address or phone number.
